This is Jerry's story — The origin of Jeronimo Coffee
In the lively streets of Skopje, you will find a unique place where coffee is not a drink, but an experience. This is Jeronimo Coffee, the dream come true for Jerry Kaandorp, a man with a story as rich and layered as the flavors of his coffee.
Born in the Netherlands and once living in Aalsmeer, Jerry saw his life change dramatically after a fateful accident at Eindhoven Airport. But where the world seemed to stand still for a while, Jerry found a new passion that got him moving again: crafting, or as experts call it, "bleeding" coffee.
What began as an experiment with coffee beans for friends and neighbors, grew into a true movement. During the pandemic, when the Hospitality Industry shut down, an ever-growing audience discovered Jerry's masterful coffee flavors. His love for the craft and ability to bring people together over a cup of steaming coffee earned him the nickname, "Your local Caffeine Dealer"
But the journey didn't stop there. Jerry and his wife Ivona decided to fulfill an ultimate dream in her native Macedonia. The result? A coffee roaster dedicated to making top-quality specialty coffee, combined with an atmospheric coffee shop in the heart of Skopje. Here, not only is coffee roasted, but stories are shared, friendships are forged and dreams come true.

Every cup brewed at our roastery now uses water purified to 99.7% and re-mineralized with Swedish Liquid Rock™ minerals for the most precise, consistent flavor possible.
